Our mission is to advance evidence-based neurosurgery by conducting methodologically rigorous systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and evidence synthesis. The Lab's current research activities focus on cerebrovascular neurosurgery, neurotrauma, and spine, using systematic reviews, meta-analyses, evidence synthesis, methodological research, and academic collaboration to strengthen the scientific evidence guiding practice in these domains. We are equally committed to training the next generation of clinician-scientists by equipping medical professionals and early-career researchers with expertise in evidence-based research methodology, critical appraisal, data synthesis, scientific writing, and peer review.
We envision the Lucke-Wold Neurosurgical Evidence Lab as a globally recognized, remote research collaborative that advances evidence-based neurosurgery.
