Clayton Rawson

Clayton Rawson is a physician-scientist in training, currently pursuing a PhD in Cell Biology and Physiology at Brigham Young University alongside his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his MBA with a Healthcare Leadership concentration at Utah Valley University (magna cum laude) and holds a dual B.S. in Biology and Chemistry, also from Utah Valley University (magna cum laude, with honors).

His research background spans neurosurgical oncology, skull base pathology, and microbiome science, with contributions to multiple publications and manuscripts alongside collaborators including Brandon Lucke-Wold and Michael Karsy, focused on neurosurgical management of malignancy, radiomic applications in skull base pathology, and social determinants of health in glioma outcomes. He has also held extensive leadership roles in student and professional organizations, currently serving as Research Director for the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA), where he leads over 70 medical student volunteers across six research subcommittees.
