Mehrdad Pahlevani, MD is a neurocritical care fellow at AdventHealth Orlando, bringing more than a decade of clinical and academic neurosurgery experience across two countries. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Sina Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and went on to hold faculty and consultant neurosurgeon positions at multiple hospitals and universities in Iran, including Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences. He subsequently transitioned to the U.S. system, completing a research fellowship at the Pacific Neuroscience Institute and Providence Saint John's Cancer Research Center in Santa Monica, followed by a house officer role in neurosurgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York.

As a Senior Researcher within the lab, Mehrdad plays a key oversight role, reviewing all ongoing projects and manuscripts to ensure scientific rigor and quality before submission.
