Pranav Tigura

Pranav Tigura is a 3rd-year undergraduate student pursuing dual degrees in the sciences and arts as he studies neuroscience and philosophy. With a deep focus in bridging medicine and the humanities, much of his published work focuses on exploring consciousness, understanding, and agency from both neurological and philosophical perspectives regarding spectrum-based and neurodevelopmental disorders.

At the University of Florida, Pranav actively places himself in clinical and translational research environments where he can observe the tangible impacts of his research efforts in improving patient outcomes. As a member of the Lucke-Wold Neurosurgical Evidence lab, Pranav has a strong focus on improving his outlook on neurological disorders from a neurosurgical perspective through working on a diverse set of narrative reviews associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and connections between the cervical lymph node and neurovascular disease. His eventual goal is to accrue meaningful experience, in both a research and clinical sense, to refine his personality to that of a clinical-neurosurgeon.
