Sri Chirasani is a first-year student at Michigan State University majoring in Neuroscience. He has a strong interest in academic neurosurgery, with particular interests in neurosurgical oncology, neurosurgical education, and research methodology. He is especially passionate about developing effective approaches to teaching students how to conduct high-quality neurosurgical research and fostering the next generation of physician-scientists.
Currently, Sri is leading a project examining the impact of preoperative embolization for brain tumors on intraoperative blood loss and surgical outcomes.
